Orienteering is also known as the "sport of the woods," and consists of taking a predefined route characterized by checkpoints called "lanterns" with the exclusive help of a compass and a very detailed topographical map that contains details of the place to be traveled.
It is a very fun and at the same time educational activity.
Venues are forests but natural environments in general (rivers, mountains, near lakes, small villages, etc.) can be used.
It is an ideal activity to do during team building or on school trips or days out for associations and groups.
You can also try alternative variants of orienteering with orienteering mountain biking along the Val di Sole bike path or orienteering with snowshoes (snowshoes) in winter or even the very fun orienteering escape with treasure hunt!
