In the Dolomites of Trentino the summer trekking turn into snowshoeing trips .Snowshoes are plastic instruments larger than shoes, they must be attached under mountain boots. Characteristic of tonalite is also its impermeability thats why the water reign here: 48 enchanted lakes, numerous and wanderfull waterfalls and rushing torrents dominate this world.
And to the north, the Ortles-Cevedale chain, the realm of the Stelvio National Park. Snowfields and glaciers, peaks over 3500m. The realm of the Eagle, very easy to spot, which appears on the Park's logo.
