Do you want to approach ski mountaineering? Do you want to do it safely?

Trentino Wild organizes a basic course of approach to ski mountaineering. A total duration of 4 days in two weekends.

We will deal with the main topics of this fantastic discipline, between theoretical parts and practical tests of the main safety procedures. Skiing is a passion!

This is what the proposal includes:

The 4 days of basic course with an alpine guide, for approach to ski mountaineering are followed by qualified personnel. Your alpine guide will be ready to make you live exciting adventures and introduce you to the basics of ski mountaineering in complete safety. At the end of the training will be released a certificate of participation. It is validated by the National Training School Rescue Project.

The organization is available to help find specific equipment.

Requirements:

Average skier level
Minimum age 16 years (a parent's clearance will be required)
Certificate of good health

What bring with you:

Warm ski clothing, helmet, ski equipment
backpack, not less than 20L with:
- thermos, hot beverage
- lunch box,
- snack or energetic bar,
- gloves,
- tank top,
- socks and t-shirt for change, beanie
- sun glasses or ski mask
- sun cream eventually

Not included in the price:

ski equipment rent;
safety snow equipment (artva, shovel and probe)

Programm of the 4 days

Day 1

8:30	meet at Trentino Wild Center in Dimaro (Via Gole 412, Dimaro Folgarida – TN);
	Introduction to the course and the use of the equipment;
	Half-day excursion Madonna di Campiglio (Malga Ciocomiti);
	Lunch at the refuge or packed lunch;
16:30	Free!

Day 2

9:00	Meet in Campo Carlo Magno (Madonna di Campiglio);
	All-day ski mountaineering trip to Cima
	Packed lunch or lunch in a refuge along the way;;
	During the excursion, practical lesson on snowmaking..
16:30	Free!

Day 3

9:00	Meet at San Bernardo di Rabbi (TN);
	All-day ski mountaineering trip to Monte Sole;
	Packed lunch or lunch in a refuge along the way;
	During the day pratical cartography lesson
16:30	Free!

Day 4

9:00	Meet at Passo del Tonale (TN);
	All-day ski mountaineering trip to Passo Presena;
	Packed lunch or lunch in a hut along the way;
	During the trip, practical lesson in avalanche recovery simulation
