A really pleasant route through spruce and rhododendron trails to a beautiful lake.
A hike that will allow us to enter the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park by touching 1900 meters of altitude.
The trek starts from Malga di Dimaro. We will continue on a path, then enter a wide clearing where we will find Baita Ciocomiti - Malga Vigo on the right. From here there is a beautiful view of the wild and little-known peaks of the northern Brenta.
After passing the wide clearing below Malga Vigo, we will take the path that will lead us to Lago delle Malghette.
The lake, nestled in a wide basin surrounded by beautiful forests of firs, larches and a few stone pines, is dominated to the west by Cima di Laste, Monte Nambino and Cima Artuick. Turning our gaze eastward we may catch the spectacular peaks of Pietra Grande, Cima Sassara and Sasso Alto.
We will return from a trail for the first alternative section, then rejoin the path made on the way up to the Malga di Dimaro.
The trekking excursion requires a minimum of physical preparation, it is suitable for children of all ages. You will walk on comfortable paths that are not particularly steep. The route has a development of 7 km with about 250 m of elevation gain.
