Freeride Tonale ski area

Exciting descents in the valleys and channels around the Presena basin, using the Tonale Pass facilities.E

A day of adventure in complete safety, in the company of our guides and instructors specialized in free-ride.

In the same day, we propose 3 itineraries, which can be done several times. Theese routes can be linked together, giving you a unique experience. You will live a day of fun looking for the best snow!

Itinerary 1 “The slut” 

An exciting difference in height of 1100 meters, from Passo Presena you go down directly in the valley of Vedretta Presena Oriental to the Presena Lake bed and then take the road back to Passo Tonale: a slope of about 35°!

Itinerary 2  “The Yard ” 

Put your freeride skis on and go! From Passo Presena we skirt the Corniciolo to the west, after which we descend into the Presena Lake and then take the road that leads back to Passo Tonale. A difference in altitude of 1100 meters, surf on the powder hides surprising emotions all to discover!  

Itinerary 3: “The Devil's Tunnel”

An evocative name for a descent a little more evolved, of less height difference (600m) but really incredible! From Passo Paradiso there is a long traverse under the crest of Monticello. You can reach it with a short climb the Passo del Diavolo to descend directly to Passo Tonale. To integrate the equipment a harness, to overcome in complete safety the first part of the vertical drop.

•  the location of the activity will depend on the weather and snow conditions and the skiing ability of the participant
• transfer to the starting point of the activity with the means of the organization
• Start of the adventure!

CLOTHING FOR FREERIDE TOURS

• clothing and equipment

• backpack with thermos and snack 
• for who has the airbagsystem backpapack is reccomended the use
• Artva, shovel and probe (eventual rent price€ 15,00 per day)

Where necessary, additional mountaineering equipment will be specified.

Itineraries are subject to snowpack conditions. The change of itinerary for safety reasons, even during the excursion itself, remains the responsibility of the guide.

Prices are per person, excluding lift tickets and eventual equipment rental. The organization is at your complete disposal to support you in the choice of eventual equipment rental
