23 DAYS OF RAFTING ON COLORADO

The wonderful expedition of the Trentino Wild and Rescue Project team in the Grand Canyon ended. 23 uninterrupted days of navigation of the Colorado River, on the most famous rapids in the world, 5 raft, 3 canoes and 16 people. More than 3 weeks spent between base camps, waves, high water conditions (15,000 – 20000 cfs, about 700 cubic meters per second!), Millenary rocks, canyons, starry skies and 360 degree nature!

Rafting was the absolute protagonist, but it was impossible not to take the opportunity to do some trekking and canyoning in the small side canyons of Colorado. A true spectacle of nature!

It was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Thanks especially to the guides of Trentino Wild and Rescue Project who have guaranteed security, professionals who have also allowed less experienced people to live this journey. Thanks to all the companions of adventure who have lived with us this expedition and have contributed to make it unique. Thanks to Gioia Travel for the organization and to all the sponsors such as Nonsolomute, Andrew Shoes, Bertoni, Crossline, River Tribe. But the biggest thank you goes to the Colorado River and the wonderful emotions it has given us!

Now we are ready to go back to rafting in Val di Sole, bringing with us all that Colorado has taught us and with the knowledge that both the river Noce and the canyon of Rio Novella know how to defend themselves!

In the meantime, we can already start dreaming about the next adventure ….
